When I first started to learn how to make websites – in 1995 – the first website I made took me 4 months.  I had to learn the software and how to put it all together.  Also, I found it very important to find out what the customer wants.  My customer wanted a simple gray theme and I was giving him everything but what he wanted.

From 4 months, I have gotten the turn around time down to about 1 week.  Now that's progress!  This turn around time does not apply to an e-commerce site because they are much more involved.

1.  Blue Host for Hosting

Blue Host keeps the necessary files up to date for hosting Word Press structured websites.  Specifically, PHP and MySQL are current.  I have used other webhosting companies that refused to update to the latest.  Some software I wasn't able to run because of this.  That is why I am recommending Blue Host.
